Anonymous asked: hi:) i wanna start swimming, but I don't wanna gain muscle. like I wanna get toned, but still lose weight on the scale and not gain from the muscle. i've swam competitively for the past 10 years and I'm 15 hahah. I've always been like a twig when I swam, but I gained some weight since I stopped swimming :( im 15, 5'8" and im 145 pounds. if i eat 1200-1300 calories a day and swim 3-4 miles a week (as well as doing pushups, sit-ups, etc.) can i lose 27 pounds in around 3-4 months??
oh and one more question lol. since i wasn't big and muscular when I swam before, does that mean my body will look like it did, if I start to swim again? thank you :D
I think it’s possible to lose it in around 4 months. But of course you’ll need to make it possible and give it your best.
Well, I’m not sure. I guess if you weren’t big at that time you probably won’t get much bigger now. I think you’ll probably look similar as you did. But I don’t know, this involves genetics and lots of other things.
I hope I could help somehow! :)
